Lots of Photographers have their very own site, post a link to yours here and let us all have a look. It would be nice if you could place a link to Focal Planet on your site too...it helps to spread the word about us.

Cumbrian Allotment Blog

Postby Steve Randles on Mon May 03, 2010 12:24 pm

NOT Photography related, but some of you may be interested in this new blog I have started in the last couple of days, it will chart my efforts as I delve into the world of chemical free produce for the table. I garden organically at home, allowing nature and its mother to find the right balance it wants and I'll be taking that principle along with me to this new plot. Have a look in if you wish.

My name on the Blog is "Mr Photo", a name given to me by a friend on another blog who is also a resident in my village.

That's a good idea - he could take the ones from his garden down to the allotment for a "holiday"

I have reduced the pots by at least half since your last visit Chris, and am currently emptying more (today)..then over the next few weeks a lot (Strawberries) will go for a permanant holiday down to the plot.

Then I can start filling more up again...

Great stuff Steve. I'll enjoy following progress.
Only tip I'd give is to invest in enviromesh for some of your veg beds. It will save a lot of grief due to insect damage and save you finding added protein when you tuck in to your organic cauliflowers and cabbage.

No, but given long enough it could go to seed. Or maybe take root
